FOCUS

False hope. Todays African-American  church gives a feeling of hopefulness but a false hope. Amongst the masses of people, the gullible may feel inspired & hopeful on Sunday morning. But the strong-willed are still left lost with many unanswered questions.

I'm slightly bothered the examples of the pop culture Baptist/Christian Gospel music. There was a song that I hear every morning on a popular urban radio program. In the song the lead singer sang about having a bunch of problems like "I've got a light bill due but he's gonna work it out." I found the people around me had a feeling of inspiration and slight  ignorance that sickened me. If you have a Lightbill due then try and show some type of discipline and control for your responsibilities instead of saying he'll make way as a backup plan.

It seems that everytime I'd get into a debate with so-called devoted Christian they'd could never handle all the factual information that used against my argument. They'd simply reply by saying I was crazy. But what's border insane is following any group of people blindly without a sense of caution or some type of doubt. Yes, I'll be the first to admit that facts alone cannot lead all your choices made in life. Being ignorant and being lead by only faith to lead the way seems a bit far fetched to success. Cause and effect, discipline and a focus mind on a goal should be what the masses in own opinion.

New Year, NewAttitude???

Congrats for making it to another year on this planet called Earth. So it's officially 2011 and most people will create New Years resolutions that will probably be broken before you read this blog. Personally, I stop making up those silly lists to limit myself to certain things or fail at others. Over the years I've learned to keep it simple and improve on whatever I was working towards. This way I don't suffer from the thought of guilt & personal failure.
